Go away
As time passes we are definitely noticing how Iain has begun to mimic his older brother, though not necessarily understanding the meaning of the words or phrases he has used. One such phrase is, "Go away!"
Of late, Ewen has been deploying the odd temper tantrum in a fairly vain attempt to gain the advantage over Mummy and Daddy. One phrase he has used is, "Go away!" Particularly when he is unhappy with us. Ah well!
We were working in the kitchen and Iain joined us in the kitchen / dining area. Climbed on Mummy's chair, the next thing we knew he began to sing, "Goway, goway, goWay, Goway, ..." almost rhyming the changes in inflection on the words. We had to giggle at this change in interpretation of the phrase Ewen had been using. He has continued to sing this little tune over the last couple of days as he moves and wanders through the house playing with his toys. Not too sure if Ewen has noticed the song yet.
