Bye bye bib
For the last week now, Ewen has expressed a desire not to use the bib. He's been quite confident about it too. Us less so, particularly when it comes to porridge. Or any other food with a similar consistency or capacity to go everywhere else except the mouth.
We've advised him that when eating without a bib he needs to lean forward slightly towards his bowl. He not only leans forward, but bends over to eat his porridge. He is quite proud of the ability, too. It's further surprising how clean his clothes are after eating without a bib.
Updated: Ewen has returned to using a bib again, more I think because of Iain needing a bib, so he doesn't want to be left out.
