Tonight, about an hour after the boys had gone to bed, I decided to have an early bath. I was running the water when a quiet voice behind me made me jump. "What are you doing Mummy?" Ewen must have heard the water and come to find whoever was up. This is unusual as he is usually asleep very quickly, and he very rarely gets out of bed once we put him down.
"I'm having a bath" was my reply to his question. "Why are you out of bed?"
"I want to watch you" he said, as he put the toilet lid down and climbed on top of it "I'm going to sit here and read my book while you have your bath" After I shooed him back to bed, I realised that I often sit in the same place while Ewen has his bath.....
